salcura antiac daily face wash review

Looking for a natural cleansing alternative to remove all that extra oil from your face?

Salcura Antiac Daily Face Wash claims to have what it takes to do the job and walk that fine balance between controlling oil production and replenishing moisture.

Does it deliver? Mmmm…

What’s In Salcura Antiac Daily Face Wash?

SURFACTANTS TO CLEANSE SKIN

All cleansers use surfactants. It’s how they remove dirt and impurities. These surfactants help water mix with oils and dirt, so they can easily be rinsed away down the drain.

But aren’t surfactants harsh? Not always. Salcura has chosen two of the gentlest. Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside and Coco-Glucoside.

Derived from coconut, these biodegradable surfactants cleanse skin without drying it out or irritating it. Plus, they help the cleanser lather, too.

Performance & Personal Opinion

My biggest pet peeve with Salcura Antiac Daily Face Wash is the packaging. It doesn’t matter how gently I squeeze that tube, too much product always comes out.

This matters. Even the gentlest cleanser can dry out skin if you constantly use too much of it. And this one is fairly gentle.

As soon as I mix it with water, it starts producing a little lather that takes off both excess oil, impurities, and a light face of makeup (I’m talking about a layer of foundation, a dab of concealer and a touch of blush).

I haven’t tried using this with waterproof products simply because I don’t usually use them. But if you wear as much makeup as a Kardashian, I’m pretty sure this is too gentle to take it all off.

I don’t find this cleanser hydrating, but it’s not drying either. It leaves my skin clean and just a little soft, but I have to apply a serum straight afterwards to rebalance moisture. Mind you, my skin is on the drier side these days.

Packaging

A simple white tube. A bit boring and always releases too much product.

Does Salcura Antiac Daily Face Wash Live Up To Its Claims?

CLAIM TRUE?
The Wash will help balance the skin’s natural oiliness and replenish moisture in the skin, leaving it to feel refreshed and hydrated. It removes excess oil, but it’s not hydrating.
Rich in Omegas 3, 6, 7 & 9 and Vitamin E, the Face Wash gently and effectively cleanses the skin without drying it or stripping it of its natural oils. It may contain all these ingredients, but they just end up down the drain. But it’s true the cleanser doesn’t dry out skin.
